Interesting facts about me

Well, time to update the 'ol profile here. Most of you know me by now. I have 2 wonderful granchildren I miss, a wonderful daughter I miss. I have two older brothers in Northern California. One of them has been a key support factor in my life. The other has a troubled heart and is MIA. I have been clean and sober on and off most of my life, but never as solidly as I am now. I am so done with it all. Only bad one left is smoking, and that is soon to be axed. On the lighter side of life, I am a die hard 49er fan. I live in Costa Mesa, CA for the moment. Many a road blocks frustrate me now, yet for once in my life I face it all on life's terms, not mine. The negative thinking and self talk is slowly leaving me, and I enjoy as much church time as possible. I give all the credit to our Loving God..as if I take the steering wheel back from him, I only have another accident. He is more than willing to drive, I just have to have 'acceptance'. He is very good at listening too!

It is amazing how God being in your life and his sweet saving grace can change you and I truly believe YOU WILL BE FINE as long as you have God with you! I have a friend who was a very bad drug user (meth included)- she found her new faith in God and has no desire to do drugs again. You love the things you hated and hate the things you love - don't know what that bible verse is - but its true. I used to be a drinker - hate it now - I was saved over a year ago and have never been a drug user but my husband has and I continue to pray for God to have mercy on him and bring him to him when he's ready!

Thanks for your story - you are an inspiration to us waiting for our loved ones in the wings.
